My Sr. year, the smartest girl in school didn't have the highest SAT score or the highest GPA
(but that didn't stop her from becoming a doctor).
But this has GOT to take the cake - a Texas girl with a perfect ACT score and a 5.9 GPA (NOT a typo) didn't get the honor.

Texas, home of no child left behind? And 5.9 ? Creative grading to say the least. 4.0 used to be the best you could get.
